Hi,

Synopsis: gcov (part of gcc 3.0) crashes
State-Changed-From-To: open->feedback
State-Changed-By: bangerth
State-Changed-When: Tue Dec 10 16:32:39 2002
State-Changed-Why:
Unfortunately, nobody seemed to care to look at your report
earlier, since then they would have noticed that when
running gcov, it wants to see the source files:
tmp/g> /home/bangerth/bin/gcc-3.0.4/bin/gcov test.ii
100.00% of 7 source lines executed in file bufpipe2.h
Could not open source file bufpipe2.h.
93.75% of 48 source lines executed in file pipe.h
Could not open source file pipe.h.
98.78% of 82 source lines executed in file bufpipe2.cxx
Could not open source file bufpipe2.cxx.
It sad, but these are not part of the file you sent. Do
you still happen to have them around? Or better: do you
have any experience with gcc3.2?
I don't know which version of these files I used. However, I cannot remember
having seen any problems like this one using gcc3.2.

Matthias Meixner
