Synopsis: [SparcV9 Solaris] gcc does not build
State-Changed-From-To: analyzed->feedback
State-Changed-By: rodrigc
State-Changed-When: Sat Jan 5 21:16:53 2002
State-Changed-Why:
Brad Lucier has managed to bootstrap gcc 3.1:
http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc-prs/2001-12/msg00777.html
The key step is to pass the flags "-xarch=v9 -xildoff"
to the Sun cc compiler when doing the bootstrap.
This should probably be added to the target specific build
instructions.
