..IS the bug. Do we have to use it? I'm really getting fed up of
typing a lot of stuff into a web browser, only to lose it all once I
press send because of some stupid problem at the other end. Nor can I
get the non-browser client programs like Emacs to work (despite
following the instructions to the letter).
GNATS is currently "locked", whatever that means, and has a bunch of
stale locks on many PRs that I've tripped today.
What about using Bugzilla? That would also have the benefit that bug
submitters could amend and close their own bug reports, without the
current silliness where someone (often me) has to run around chasing
them up. It also seems to be being actively developed rather than
stagnating, and have all kinds of nice features GNATS doesn't have.
Or is Bugzilla off-limits because of licence politics?
