Bug found in gcc-3.0 and 2.95.3


I have tried to run a 'make' on both of the above versions but keep getting
the message shown below:

make: 1254-004 The error code from the last command is 1.


Stop.
make: 1254-004 The error code from the last command is 2.


Stop.

Could you advise of any possible cause for this. If you need more info,
