gcc bug report (sigsegv while compiling libpng)


* The GCC version (not just 3.xx; run gcc -v)
Reading specs from /usr/lib/gcc-lib/i586-pc-linux-gnu/3.0/specs
Configured with: ../gcc-3.0/configure --prefix=/usr --with-cpu=k6 --enable-threads=posix
Thread model: posix
gcc version 3.0

* The system type (the dir name after gcc-lib in the output of gcc -v
i586-pc-linux-gnu

* The complete command line that triggers the bug
gcc -march=k6 -I/usr/include -Wall -O3 -funroll-loops -save-temps    -c -o pngrtran.o pngrtran.c
Note: -O0 and -O1 won't crash; -O2 and higher do.

* The compiler output (error messages, warnings, etc)
pngrtran.c: In function `png_init_read_transformations':
pngrtran.c:987: Internal error: Segmentation fault

* The preprocessed file (*.i*) that triggers the bug, generated by adding
  -save-temps to the complete compilation command (see below)

* The options given when GCC was configured/built
