I looked through the guidelines and agree that a patch of this nature
is not specifically one of the mentioned criteria. However, when you look
at the "GCC 3.0 Release Criteria" you will see that hppa hpux is one of
the primary evaluation platforms, and a functioning C++ ABI and standard
library are required prior to release. Thus, I suggest that the testsuite
for the library needs to be fixed.
I know that hpux testing is behind because of technical problems in other
areas, but it's coming.
