Well, I've reported the bug once before, and it still appears. An ICE
compiling some of the inet portions of glibc 2.2 using gcc 3.0 branch.
I'm worried, because I'm on the release criteria page as a tester for
sparc-linux on Debian 2.2 (second tier). I can't even compile glibc, so
my testing is somewhat limited in scope.
Even compiling glibc without optimzations produces a libc.so.6 that
gives segmentation faults when used. So even that much wont work. I can
compile some normal programs without any problems, but the bad
code produced in glibc, aswell as the ICE prevents from doing a fully
bootstraped system using gcc 3.0.
I can send the .i for the ICE if someone can take a look at it. I'm not
really able to debug this myself, but I can test any and every possible
patch if someone can offer it up.
