I've reported in
http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc-bugs/2000-09/msg00586.html
on September 25th (!!!) a problem which rth analyzed as having to do
with the functions-as-trees stuff .
http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc-bugs/2000-09/msg00595.html
The author of these changes seems to not care.
I find this unacceptable. If problems are not fixed in reasonable
time the changes must be backed out. Almost 4 weeks is not an
acceptable time frame. The quality of the compiler will deteriorate
even more if tests cannot be run (I consider compiling glibc as a test
case). I have experienced four more problems but I don't see it as
useful to report them if nobody takes care of them.
