Bootstrap failure on Irix6, "No rule to make target libgcc/mabi=64"

I'm getting the following error bootstrapping on mips-sgi-irix6.2:

 > make[3]: *** No rule to make target `libgcc/mabi=64', needed by `all'. Stop.
 > make[3]: Leaving directory `/caip/u99/ghazi/gcc-testing/build/gcc'
 > make[2]: *** [stmp-multilib] Error 2
 > make[2]: Leaving directory `/caip/u99/ghazi/gcc-testing/build/gcc'
 > make[1]: *** [bootstrap] Error 2
 > make[1]: Leaving directory `/caip/u99/ghazi/gcc-testing/build/gcc'
 > make: *** [bootstrap] Error 2

Its been happening for a few days now. I think it is related to the
recent libgcc build process revamp.
