Hi,
the following lines...
CORBA::Boolean DrawTraversalImpl::intersectsAllocation()
{
RegionImpl region(Region_var(allocation()),
Transform_var(transformation()));
return region.intersects(clipping);
}
result in an error message with gcc 2.95:
DrawTraversalImpl.cc: In method `Boolean
DrawTraversalImpl::intersectsAllocation()':
DrawTraversalImpl.cc:37: request for member `intersects' in `region',
which is of non-aggregate type `RegionImpl
()(_CORBA_ObjRef_Var<Region,Region_Helper> (*)(), Transform_var (*)())'
DrawTraversalImpl.cc:38: warning: control reaches end of non-void
function `DrawTraversalImpl::intersectsAllocation()'
make[2]: *** [obj/DrawTraversalImpl.o] Error 1
In fact, I declared a RegionImpl constructor as:
RegionImpl(Region_ptr, Transform_ptr);
which fits the above call just fine (given that allocation() and
transformation() return
Region_ptr and Transform_ptr respectively).
Who is misinterpreting something, me or the compiler ?
