No there isn't one such beast in the tar file :)

SunOS fire.mcs.anl.gov 5.7 Generic_106541-05 sun4u sparc
Mabe this problem occurs only on ultra sparc machines, and not on the
old Sparc 4/5/10 machines?
Will any other info be useful in narrowing down the problem?
