Then please count it as documentation error. The mentioned information
is included in info pages distributed with egcs 2.91.60 (the latest
release) and egcs 2.91.62 (the soon-to-be release). It seems the
information included in the egcs 2.93.11 development snapshot is correct.
Why not just copy it to the stable version?
