passed with bootstrap disabled. I then enabled bootstrap and repeated the

Thanks for testing, though I think David was testing on POWER/AIX,
which runs in big endian mode, hence David suspected that it could be
endianness related. Do you have access to such a machine on the test
farm?

I think there is one, but I will have to look and set up. I think last time Itried there were some tool chain items missing or maybe dependencies. Will getback on this.
