Re: Lahey contributions to gfortran?

Does anyone know how they have followed through? I haven’t seen any new developer in the team recently, nor any contribution from Marlette to the code or documentation, and only two bugs reports (with no work on the bugs themselves).

On Marlettes behalf, I have to say that I am largely responsible for the GFortran contributions, and I must admit that by my own standards, the follow through has not been adequate. Because I have been beset with a series of distractions of a family nature, I have largely been on leave from developing on our product and GFortran over the past year. With that said, in that time I have obtained an assignment from the FSF and have posted on stackoverflow example code showing how to interface GFortran with Windows API functions using ISO_C_BINDING and standard Fortran coding without having to resort to import/export directives. While this isn't much, it isn't nothing. By mid fall, I should be in a better position to contribute, especially with things like bug hunting.

Best regards, Tim
