Here's what I finally committed:

2009-08-09 Francois-Xavier Coudert <fxcoudert@gcc.gnu.org>

	PR libfortran/40549
	* Makefile.in (LTLDFLAGS): Add -no-undefined.
	* Makefile.am: Regenerate.
	* libgfortran.h: Remove unused block of code.
