Unfortunately, backing out Richard Kenner's patch doesn't help. Rainer Fixed, probably by http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc-patches/2003-10/msg01970.html Subject: Re: [3.4 Regression] Tru64 UNIX V5.1B bootstrap failure: ICE in config/alpha/alpha.c (function_value) I think so: at least Falk's testcase doesn't crash any longer, but it's probably better to let the original submitter verify von Alpha GNU/Linux to make sure.
