Well, I suspect AVR might be such platform but I do not seem to have an
ABI document for AVR yet... (hint, hint).
An interesting question is what ptrdiff_t is for such platforms... (I
would expect short)
At least on h8300, where size_t may be unsigned short, unsigned int or
unsigned long depending on the options, ptrdiff_t is simply the signed
version of size_t.
