- Subject: HELP! longstanding abi_check failures on i686 & x86_64 (linux-gnu)
I'm seeing abi_check failures from 4.1 through mainline on i686 and
x86_64, e.g.:
http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc-testresults/2008-04/msg00000.html
http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc-testresults/2008-04/msg00001.html
Some other people's x86 postings show the failure, some do not. So I
wonder if it's related to upgrades or patches to the operating system.
I don't understand the abi_check test very well. How do I debug it
and what can I post that would be helpful.
Thanks,
