Re: [PATCH] for tr1 progress documentation.

Hi Ed,

Here is version two of the patch taking into account the feedback that
I've received.
There are now three status columns "Done", "Broken", and "Missing"
There are a couple of introductory sentences above the table explaining
what the table is about and where is sort of came from.
I removed the history stuff about Boost and SGI in the FAQ.
There is a note about Boost in the table under shared_ptr.

Looks simply excellent to me! Assuming nobody objects, tomorrow I will apply it.

Thank you! I tried to send it to the whole list but the spam blocker clobbered me. I was just about to resend with the patch gzipped in the hopes that it would get through. But I'll hold off then until the 4.1 patch.
I did put a sentence above the table about the table pertaining to
mainline.
As I did that it occurred to me that we *could* throw together a version
or this patch for 4.1 and link to it much as we did for C99. I think
there's enough of TR1 there to be rather useful (the Section 8 is post
4.1).

Exactly. If you could prepare a similar patch for 4.1, then we could
deliver it with 4.1.0 and also link to it from the release notes (on top
of my TODO, at the moment).
I'll start on that now. It should be pretty easy.
Thinking more about your work, seems to me a pity having it only as a
subsection of 5.2, very hard to notice! Any suggestion for a better
placement? In my opinion could also become a separate entry of 5.
I might break out each function in that section. Maybe we could do the same for the section 5.1 RNG too.
Paolo.
