I have a patch, which is more or less ready to check in.  But after Stuart 
Anderson again posted a list of symbols which included some which already 
were decided against (and determined to be useless) by Gabriel and 
Benjamin I thought there is more need for discussion at least for the LSB 
people.

Although at this point in time no other symbols will be allowed to be 
exported by the maintainers, except those in my patch.

I will put it in as soon as the LSB says they are okay with the symbols.  
I posted a list of symbols which the LSB expects currently but which are 
not going to be exported.
