If I disagree with them, I say so. If they find that insulting, that is their
failing, not mine. I've stated my position as factually as possible,
providing evidence where I can. I've been willing to reexamine my position
and refine my thinking in this area.

There is a discussion on comp.lang.c++ about this topic presented in the
abstract which expresses my current thinking on this matter. You would do
well to read it if you care to know what my opinions and ideas really are.

Is this statement intended to further my understanding of why libstdc++ is
designed in the way it is? Is it intended to help improve libstdc++? Is it
intended as a personal affront? If the latter is the case, it seems off
topic, and inappropriate for this mailing list.
