Hi all,
I subscribed again - being the maintainer of the new demangler
and all. Also, there is still some work left; I need to write
documentation for the more esoteric parts of the interface of
demangle.h.
Benjamin: I can't compile current CVS:
/usr/src/gcc/gcc-cvs-3.4>contrib/gcc_build -d /usr/src/gcc/gcc-cvs-3.4 -o ../gcc-cvs-3.4-objdir \
> -c "--prefix=/usr/local/gcc-cvs-3.4 --enable-shared --with-gnu-as --with-gnu-ld --enable-languages=c++ --enable-debug --enable-threads" \
> bootstrap
Building: make bootstrap
make: *** No rule to make target `bootstrap'. Stop.
gcc_build: error: Could not bootstrap the compiler
Was something changed of how to start a bootstrap?
Or is the cvs broken?
Because of this I cannot check if the new demangle.h
is installed in a way that ordinairy users will have
access to it. Can you tell me where it will be installed?
Ordinairy users will need it when they want to use
a different allocator, for example.
