The best way is to run two independent programs.

The other, complicated techniques are only appropriate if you really
need an answer in half the time, instead of two answers after the
normal time.  When you have 100 processors, it's nice to get an
answer after a day instead of three months later.  With just two
processors, it's very hard to justify the complexity unless you're
just practicing for when you have access to a cluster.
