docs merge for gcc-3_2-branch?

Subject: docs merge for gcc-3_2-branch?

I'm not quite sure what is up with the documentation on mainline
versus the branch. The mainline docs have been improved, no doubt.

At some point soon, could the mainline docs be meged into the branch?
