... by the way, speaking of "rigmaroles" and 'nedit', 'nedit' too, similarly to
'emacs', is able to /a/u/t/o/m/a/t/i/c/a/l/l/y enable C++ highlightning on the
basis of the *actual* content of the file. Sorry, if I did'nt point out this
before.

As I wrote this morning, I strongly suspect that *any* modern editor (under
windoze too, e.g., Textpad) is able to do so.
