I am trying to build libstdc++ 2.90.7 on Solaris 2.7 with gcc 2.95
I am building in /files/darren/libstdc++
The source si in /files/darren/libstdc++-2.90.7
I ran ../libstdc++-2.90.7/configure
then make
I then get the following error

Making all in src
make:: Fatal error in reader: Makefile, line 496: Extra ':', '::', or ':='
on dependancy line
...
The makfile is included:
