From what I remember, 2.5.1 is not table based. Thus, the linux/solaris2.6
approach will not work, and something modeled on the newlib stuff is more
appropriate. But, whatever--Martin, take a look at it. It shoud be pretty
to easy to do, no matter what files you start with...
