Thank you - I'll try. I suppose I will get the last gcc weekly snapshot;
I couldn't imagine that the last release of the library was not compatible
with the last release of the compiler (this is not stated clearly in the
install.html page: it says you need a new automake etc. ONLY if you want
TO MODIFY the configure.in files and/or the library files IIRC).
