I'd rather leave that to someone who's already got an overall idea of
the structure of libstdc++-v3, and where this adapter should go. I
could certainly apply a mechanical change to the remaining occurrences
of iconv afterwards, but I guess this wouldn't be of much help, and I
wouldn't be able to test it in the near future, cause my near future
is to catch some Zzzs :-)
I may look into it tomorrow or on Saturday, if nobody beats me to it.
But I'd really prefer that someone did beat me to it :-)
