Great, that's what I thought.

Since you're a libtool expert, would you mind putting together a patch
for libstdc++-v3/mkcheck.in?  I do think we need to keep both the
static and shared versions of the tests for now; the libstdc++ people
presumably think it's valuable to test both versions of the library.
(I don't think we really need *everything* static; just libstdc++ if
that's easy to arrange.)
