Ulrich, you are describing the developer-unfriendly way that you
manage glibc development, not a general model for Free Software
development supported by the FSF or other projects, such as GCC. I am
sorry that you seem to be mentoring Ben in that style. If Ben needs more
help or someone to handle the non-GNU/Linux maintenance of v3, he should
ask.
Making authoritative-sounding prounouncements does not make them
correct.
