- Subject: Problems debugging Java programs in Eclipse
Hi
I'm trying to migrate a Java program to using the classpath libraries, with
the purpose of running them on JamVM.
However to debug stuff first (not supported by JamVM) I've tried to use
eclipse + the "java-1.5.0-gcj-4.3-1.5.0.0" jdk in Ubuntu8.10 (just
downloaded the standard Ubuntu packages).
Debug session starts, but the program normally does not stop at breakpoints
(only in some cases) and exceptions only give me an "jdwp.notify ... Null
pointer exception" print-out, so I have no idea where they are occuring.
Does anyone know how to get the debugging to work in Eclipse?
I'm using Eclipse 3.2.2
