I think this just means that your alternatives are set to use the JDK
rather than gcj. However not all of these alternatives can be
satisfied by gcj -- e.g., nobody has written pack200 for Classpath
yet.

Matthias Klose ("doko") packages this stuff for Ubuntu.

i all,
Tom thanx for clearing up stuff, now my question is which of
these 11 alternatives can be satisfied with gij . If there is an easy
howto for people who want to use gij how they should set up stuff
would be a nice start. Please lemme know what I need to find out &
post & would do the same. Cheers !
