Except that I can't check in until you do. ;)
Also, it would be nice to move up to SVN HEAD (current patch is
against May'06). I'm willing to do the work to update the patch --
but only once.

In that case, is there any chance that you could commit just the
runtime portion?

PS, My main concern is this: unless I am mistaken (which happens
often) your patch is not actually free software under FSF
assignment until you check it in (with all associated paperwork
filed). I'm hesitant to put a lot into improving it before that
happens.
