Re: Up-to-date News on GCJ

There are two ways we can tackle this problem:

  1. Insert back-dated news items for these events and vow
(yet again) to keep the news up-to-date.

  2. Remove the "GCJ News" section and redirect people to
an appropriate page on the GCC Wiki.

I volunteer to rectify the immediate problem whether #1
or #2 is agreed upon. Whichever option we agree to, can
someone please point out other significant events apart
from the two I mentioned earlier?

Yes, the state of the GCJ web pages is a bit embarrassing. I'd like to see them all migrated to a wiki format. This would reduce the effort needed to maintain them and help ensure that the content is kept up to date. The problem I see with using the existing wiki is that it's not too aesthetically appealing, and perhaps not structured optimally - ideally the design would be like the existing pages (or an improvement on them!), but with wiki edit-ability.
