- Subject: Article link sent to Excelsior JET new subscribers mentions GCJ
Someone at Excelsior (makers of the JET commercial compiler) wrote an
article called "Java to EXE - Why, When, When Not and How", which mentions
GCJ. The link was sent to Excelsior JET mailing list subscribers.
It's interesting that the wrap-up product comparison only considers JET and
GCJ, and doesn't mention any other competition. I think the treatment of
GCJ is pretty fair, except that "does not support AWT" is a little harsh.
