Re: Name change proposal for rmic, rmiregistry and jar

I propose that we rename rmic to grmic, rmiregistry to grmiregistry and
jar (back to?) to fastjar.

Currently, these tools' names conflict with jpackage.org packaging
conventions, which dictate that /usr/bin/rmic, /usr/bin/rmiregistry and
/usr/bin/jar must be alternatives-managed symlinks.

Likely some people are relying on the names of these gcj-installed
tools. Packagers will have to create symlinks if they want to provide a
smooth transition to the new names.

Any objections?

I think this is ok. I'm not sure about calling jar "fastjar", however - yes this package was originally called fastjar, but "gjar" would be more consistent with the other tools, IMO.

Do you have a patch? :)
