Hi People,
I didn't realize that the 3.5 branching had happened.
Now that it has, does anyone have any objections to this?:
http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/java-patches/2004-q1/msg00008.html
Like I said, it boosts performance by >50%.
Bryce had an alternative implementation, but it wasn't finished:
http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/java/2004-01/msg00031.html
...and has possible issues:
http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/java/2004-01/msg00035.html
I figure that something is better than nothing and this can always
go through a subsequent iteration now that the branching has
taken place.
