I'm trying to understand how to integrate libunicows, to see if I can help completing this build. It seems that it must be re-compiled on Linux.
I have successfully integrated libunicows and ran some tests on Win98.
Things seem fine there too. I am in the process of putting together a
new UNICOWS-enabled build which works on all platforms as well as
submitting a patch for review. Give me a day or two.
