Sorry Mohan, the patch looks OK to me, but then, I am
not a Win32 programmer and have relied solely on MSDN
and Google to do whatever little Win32 programming I
have ever done. That way, my saying "OK" really doesn't
matter much.

As Bryce notes, you can run the various Thread tests
in the testsuite (and in Mauve, if any) against this
patch and see how it fares. You do not need DejaGNU
to work for this.

(It might be worth the effort to get DejaGNU to work
on your machine - it certainly works with Cygwin, so
you can try that out.)
