Re: compiling SWT gui with gcj on linux

At this point, I believe that at least one nifty end-user application (but not too
complicated) could provide the incentive for developers to evaluate GCJ (I want to do
this too!) and read up on it. (The reading up on it, requires such motivation).

As I see it, there is already way more stuff that people can read up on, than is
strictly necessary to satisfy the curious ones. In my opinion, improving the things
available already, could rather be a long-term proposition. But then again, if there
are areas known today already, where work could be done (todo lists), I'm available.
By the way, who is managing doc stuff for GCJ? Does he have a todo list already? Has
the doc-stuff volunteer team been established already?

Regarding the nifty end-user application needed, the irate.sourceforge.net stuff
looks good, the bittorrent stuff too, and the combination even better. I doubt this
mailing list is the right place to discuss details of how to go about it, but if
anybody wants to discuss this, feel free to email me (privately), or to indicate what
place would be appropriate to discuss it.
