The java web pages don't get much maintenance, and as I recall this
page was out of date. I believe the thinking was that it would be
better to just point to the generic instructions so that we wouldn't
have to worry as much about maintaining this page.

Probably not, but maybe a simpler generic (for all of gcc) page would
be useful.
