Hi Ranjit & Andrew,

Ranjit: I am setting target=i686-pc-mingw32 and host=target=i686-pc-mingw32
in the crossed and crossed-native build scripts, respectively,
instead of the mingw32 (=i386-pc-mingw32) in your original build
scripts.

Sorry if I misread what you were saying, Andrew. I was probably projecting my
own doubts about this system (download size is larger, binutils is usually
invariant). I could also achieve the the same effect by insisting people
download a certain version of binutils on my download page and even making a
local copy available for download. Øyvind?
