Are your patches in Hans' release? If not, we'll need your patches if
we want this work to appear in 3.3. Even if so, we might still need
them, depending on whether I can to do the import.

I don't know the status yet. I just took the patches from gc mailing list, which are for a 6.2alpha release and adapted them to current boehm-gc from gcc-cvs.

The patches are not from my side, mainly from Jesse & Jeff.

I can prepare something if the boehm-gc import will not happen before 3.3 release. On the other side, I'd like to see some more testing on it. I had severe problems which are not clear to me why. (reinstallation helped)

What do you mean, and do you really plan to import boehm-gc soon, I mean before 3.3 release? If so, and the 3.3 release will happen soon, I feel a bit weak since this a new release of boehm-gc. Personaly I would deny such an import on projects of mine being short before release. Without heavy testing. If doing so I fear some support issues striking back. But that's my feeling. You probably have more experience in.

So have to rebuild branch since I shot the source tree :)
