I have also added a news item mentioning that Eclipse is running on libgcj/gij, as featured on Slashdot. Congratulations to everybody who is working on that, the screenshots look great.

I suspect there is still some way to go before its easy and practical to compile natively large Java applications like eclipse, but having it up and running on the interpreter certainly proves the maturity of the runtime.

Hopefully I'll be around more in the new year ;-)
