building latest on PPC

Subject: building latest on PPC

Are there any big problems with latest CVS on PPC?

I haven't been able to build for weeks.

My current problem is with complex_io.o in the C++ library.

I am using the 3.1 branch tagged as: gcc-3_1-branch


Should I be using something more up to date?
