It is also a work-in-progress, with J2SE compatability one of the most
important goals, if not the most important goal. Open source projects
make intermediate releases all the time, and I really hope they took
this into account. I'm sure they must have, because the "without
subsetting" clause is completely at odds with the open source
development process.
