Java is non-free software.  That is why it sucks in my book :)

Wow!  I have *never* seen that!  In fact I have seen sun taking the opposite
path.  All new libraries are becoming proprietary (nio, javax.transaction, etc),
they pulled out of the standards process and said that they will not be
standardizing java, etc.

If you want to say something like "They said they would 'when the time > is
right'" fine.  But please enlighten us ignorant fools to why you believe this
and what sources you have used to come to this conclusion.
