I've bootstrapped the latest snapshot with recent libtool sources, and
I was planning to merge them into GCC, but then I recalled piecewise
linking, which was needed to work around the command-line limitation
of IRIX, was still broken. I hope to have fixed it today, but I'm
unwary about checking the tested libtool plus this patch in the GCC
3.0 branch. I'd rather have one more round of testing. However,
because some of the machines I use are so slow, I can't bootstrap GCC
on them more than once a week. So, I'll probably only be able to
check in the newer version of libtool next Wednesday or so, assuming a
new snapshot is released on Monday, as usual.
