I think Tom is talking about patches to gcj/297 and gcj/283 (Tom,
please tell me if I'm wrong.) But I don't think it's going to help
with your case. Egcs isn't in a very good state today. I can't even
build it past libiberty/cplus-dem.c (I hit this when I tried to
reproduce your problem yesterday night.)

They're fix to PRs in feedback. I usually prefer to wait for the
originator to get back to me on the fix before I check it in. Some
might find this debatable.

Otherwise, I don't hold patch that are improving things, of course.
